Very simply, we're a local community of folks here in Charlotte NC that have concerns regarding the future of our children in an ever changing world. What does the future hold and what impact will it have on our children and future generations?
The "Sophia Leona Foundation" (SLF) is a non-profit organization. It's named after my own grandmother who carries a special place in my heart. The SLF has been intentionally designed to feed, nurture, benefit and contribute to the growth of other non-profits.
- Uniting the kids of the world with a common message
- Bridging the gap between peoples/generations, cultures/ethnicities, faiths/beliefs and lifestyles/choices
- Teaching our children about and employing the servant's heart inherent in all of us
- Educating our children on the meaning of selflessness
- Empowering our children to "tangibly" contribute
- Creating a universal sense of community and belonging in an ever-challenging world
- Using our cause and message to proactively combat the universal bullying epidemic SO many are contending with
- Build a legacy based on the love and kindness that can change the world and its people
